Stadium House was constructed as part of the football stadium development and is a purpose-built five storey office building of steel portal frame construction with concrete floors and a mixture of metal clad and glazed side elevations, surmounted by a gently pitched metal clad roof.The ground floor entrance has a reception area with management office, a visitor seating area and meeting room. There are male and female toilet facilities, and a passenger lift provides access to the upper floors. In the building core is an access stair and there is a separate fire escape stair.
Location
Livingston is the largest town in West Lothian and popular among commuters and commercial organisations due to its accessible position between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Edinburgh is 17 miles east and Livingston lies south of the M8 Motorway off junction 3.
Situation
Stadium House lies north-west of Livingston town centre on a corner of Livingston Football Club’s stadium, just south of the River Almond. Access is from Almondvale Stadium Road which runs in an east-west direction and joins Alderstone Road 150m west, this giving access throughout Livingston. Nearby is Livingston Designer Outlet, Scotland’s largest designer outlet mall with over 70 shops, and there are other substantial retail schemes in Livingston including further shopping malls, retail parks and food stores. A Lidl supermarket lies nearby, and West Lothian College lies 400m southwest.
