Location
YHA Lands End is their westernmost hostel, tucked away in the Cornish countryside about 1 mile from the Coast with views to the sea. A 15 minute walk will take you to the nearest beach at Porth Nanven, where walkers can join the South West Coastal Path. The hostel is located in the Cot Valley, just outside the town of St Just in West Penwirth in the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town has a population of circa 4,800 and close to the well known holiday destinations of Sennen Cove (5 miles) and St Ives (12 miles).
The Lands End landmark, for which the hostel is named after is approximately 5 miles to the south and has year round tourism for it being the most westerly point on mainland England.
YHA Lands End occupies a two storey property with a rendered finish. The main building has a pitched slate roof. . There is an outbuilding which is a single storey building with a rendered finish under a flat roof. The plot is approximately 3 acres.
