Here at Clive Emson Auctioneers, we offer both live auctions and online auctions, deciding which is better for you comes down to several factors, so let’s take a look at the advantages and disadvantages of each auction type to help you decide on your plan of action.
I can remember, when there was a family crisis, my Nan saying everything will be alright after a cuppa! So she would pour boiling water into a teapot, swirl it round and discard.
It is our last auction events of the year and we are saying goodbye to 2019 with a bang! We will be auctioning over 100 lots over five days. Here are the dates for your diary and some of our chosen December auctions highlights:
Clive Emson Auctioneers run high-profile specialist land and property auctions across the country, in some of the most popular UK locations. Therefore, we have offices across the country – each placed to best serve the local area quickly and efficiently.
Our five auctions at the end of October and into November promise to be crackers with a whole host of superb properties and land going under the hammer. We’ve picked out three of the highlights from the upcoming events…
We are now inviting entries for the October/November auction. If you would like to arrange an auction appraisal please contact us on 0345 8500333 or complete our online form. The closing date for entries is Monday 30th September.
Here at Clive Emson Auctioneers, we often get properties that don’t match the norm, but these are usually on land, not this time! At our Hampshire and Isle of Wight auction on 13 September a Napoleonic Fort will be going to auction, yes you read that correctly, a Napoleonic Fort constructed in the 1860s will be going under the hammer.
Here at Clive Emson, we auction all types of properties and land, from converted barns to urban apartments, blocks of garages to acres of woodland. One particular area we specialise in is commercial properties and we’ve got some absolute gems at our July auctions, here we’ve picked out three highlights!
Its often said that the English language is all about learning you’re A, B & C’s, whilst minding your P’s & Q’s! Auctioneer Kevin Gilbert has progressed a little further putting various letters together to form some of his favourite words…’going, going, gone!’. The sellers of the former St Christopher’s School in Canterbury are hoping to hear those mortal words for themselves
The last two days of last week were rather glowing with stardust in one way or another. On Thursday afternoon I drove to Birmingham Town Hall for a Charity Auction as part of a glittering Gala Dinner on behalf of Baby Lifeline – The Mother and Baby Charity. The seasoned Radio and TV broadcaster Nick Owen hosted the event with Guest Speaker.
It’s been another great month for buyers and sellers at our auctions across the South East. There were many big sales at our five auctions, here we highlight a few from our Kent and South East London auction that took place at the Clive Emson Conference Centre in Maidstone on 12 June…
We are delighted to receive the news that our chairman and auctioneer Clive Emson has been awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the Queen’s birthday honours list.
