Aceleron won two of the biggest awards in the environment sector this month! We are thrilled to have been awarded the Data Centre World London ‘Environmental product of the year’ award and Sustainability West Midlands ‘Sustainable Energy Use’ award.

The Data Centre World award was for a development or new product that improved the environment by either reduction of emissions or reduction of waste (i.e., extension of product life). Aceleron created its circular economy technology as a response to the future mountain of lithium battery waste, anticipated from the rise in adoption of EVs and other new technology. This was awarded during the physical DCW event at Excel London on 2nd March 2022.

A week later we went on to win the ‘Sustainable Energy Use’ award. This was awarded by Sustainability West Midlands  who have initiated a sustainability Roadmap to 2030. Their target: 2030 achieve a 79% increase in the amount of energy generated by renewables from 2019 levels. It focuses on improving social, economic and environmental indicators across the West Midlands for a more sustainable, fairer, and greener region for all. The award was sponsored by Bryt Energy.

A huge thank you to our team for all the hard work put in, the sponsors who shortlisted us and you, our dear readers for showing your constant support.
