The new homes are the latest release within The Brooks, a scheme of two, three, four and five bedroom houses and apartments set around a village green, developed by Croudace Homes.

Built on land once belonging to the Englefield Estate, The Brooks has been sensitively designed to preserve its heritage and create a lasting legacy grounded in community and nature.

A central green, multiple attenuation ponds and vibrant landscapes provide the setting and 175 new trees have been planted along with the addition of wildlife features such as bee bricks, bat and bird boxes, invertebrate boxes, hibernacula and log piles.

The homes, designed to complement the local vernacular, have both traditional details and unique features, such as timber windows and doors, developed in partnership with the architect, to align with the estate’s vision.

All the homes released in the first phase sold within six months and its first new residents are starting to move in as work on the site moves closer to completion.

The townhouses are priced between £525,000 and £650,000 and encompass four different house types, including two three-bedroom and two four- bedroom types. The family accommodation is well arranged over three floors and includes open plan kitchen and dining.

Alexa Peters, head of Savills residential development sales in Reading, said: “The Brooks is an exceptional development, beautifully designed with great sensitivity and architectural elegance. The initial release was well-received and the townhouses are likely to drive even more attention, being so well set up for family living.”

A show home is available to view by appointment only. Contact Savills residential development sales in Reading on 0118 952 0540.
