Statement Kitchen Design with Ligneous Kitchens

Sometimes in a kitchen you just want to be bold for the sake of it and create a statement with a rare and beautiful material.

To demonstrate what can be done with your worksurfaces, to this end, we have installed this amazing slab of Iranian Cappuchino Onyx in our showroom. We chose the slab from two available. We dictated exactly how we wanted the slab chopped in order to show off the character of that individual piece.

We had a breakfast bar and the splashback made and then installed controllable LEDs underneath and behind respectively that gives a beautiful and adjustable effect. With the lights low the lovely dusty brown colour of the onyx comes through. Turn the lights full up and it looks like a lump of molten steel, maybe for when entertaining.

This is a real statement piece for those wanting to add a serious wow factor to their design. There are many varieties of onyx to choose from, each with its own character and each slab is, of course, unique. A truly beautiful way to add an air of exclusivity and luxury to your living space.
