Spaciable is delighted to welcome Westminster City Council on-board, with the iconic London Borough signing up to our white-labelled property management and resident engagement software for 226 plots.

Between 2011 and 2021, Westminster had the second-largest percentage-point rise in proportion of social rented households in England.

Spaciable will help Westminster City Council on-board their tenants and provide the level of support required by the Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023, through features including push notifications, a secure document library, and much more.  Whilst tenants will each have a bespoke login to their portal, Westminster City Council admins will have access to a unique dashboard, helping them to streamline their processes and manage communications, not only saving time and money, but also providing peace of mind that they are complying with legislation.

As well as essential health and safety documents, certificates and terms of the lease, tenants will also find custom How To videos in their document library, filmed on location by Spaciable’s video production arm, providing guidance on how to use and maintain the systems and fittings in each home, providing highly accessible instructions and supporting residents irrespective of their fluency in English through visual cues.

Oscar Mardell, Head of Partnerships at Spaciable, said:

“It’s incredibly exciting to be working with a local authority that is so synonymous with London, and one which is seeing an increased focus on social housing.  With Spaciable, we believe we can help Westminster City Council create an holistic tenant experience, bringing our knowledge of best practice from working alongside hundreds of private developers to consolidate processes and introduce efficient operational practices, as we continue to support social housing providers.”

Brian Arscott, Lead Development Delivery Manager at Westminster City Council said:

“We’re incredibly proud of the new Ebury Bridge neighbourhood and we understand the importance of supporting families and individuals through the transition into their new homes.  We’re pleased to be working with Spaciable to improve the customer experience through an accessible digital platform, that we hope will make it easy for people to quickly learn how they can enjoy all the features of their new home.”
