LandAid, the property industry charity, is calling on property professionals in Birmingham, Bristol and London to brave one night outside to prevent young people from having to do the same.

The events will take place on the following dates:

You can register for all three events here: http://bit.ly/LandAid-SleepOut

The events are sponsored by Hammerson and Knight Frank, with regional sponsors in each city: Palmer Capital/Fiera Real Estate in London and TFT in Bristol. Each participant will be asked to raise over £150, all fundraising will go towards LandAid’s mission to end youth homelessness. LandAid hopes to raise over £400,000 from the events.

This is the second LandAid SleepOut. In March 2018 the SleepOut for LandAid House raised £280,000 for LandAid’s flagship development LandAid House near Old Street in London.

Paul Morrish, Chief Executive, LandAid, said: “I am delighted that we are bringing our SleepOut series to multiple locations across the UK this time around. Last year’s event provided a truly impactful opportunity to raise money to help vulnerable young people across the UK. I hope to see as many of you as possible sleeping out for one night with all of us to help make changes to young people’s lives which will last a lifetime.”

Mark Bourgeois, Managing Director UK & Ireland, Hammerson, said: “We at Hammerson are incredibly pleased to be sponsoring the LandAid SleepOut once again. By bringing the event to three locations across the country, cities in which we have substantial investments and community partners, we hope we can raise even more funds to end youth homelessness - as well as awareness of such an urgent issue.”

Alistair Elliott, Senior Partner and Group Chairman, Knight Frank, said: “Everyone at Knight Frank is so excited to be able to sponsor such a fantastic event once again. Last year’s SleepOut was a really special fundraising event which I’m sure everyone who took part in remembers, and I can’t wait to see the amazing impact that three SleepOuts will have on the issue of youth homelessness this time around.”

Alistair Allison, Managing Partner, TFT, said: “We’ve seen LandAid’s growing impact in the South West first-hand with the development of East Street Mews, a project we are proud to be involved in. It is therefore our pleasure to continue supporting its fantastic work by sponsoring the first ever South West LandAid SleepOut, held at the renowned Ashton Gate Stadium. We hope to see our friends and peers in the industry get their sleeping bags out and join us there!”

Alex Price, CEO, Palmer Capital/Fiera Real Estate, said: “Fiera Real Estate is delighted to sponsor the LandAid London SleepOut, an industry-wide initiative to raise money and awareness to combat homelessness. Given our 25-year track record of building homes and creating communities across the UK, we feel a real connection with this issue and braving a night out with friends and colleagues is a great way to show our support.”
