Salboy Makes a Move on London - Cluny Mews, Kensington

Cluny Mews will provide 35 luxurious apartments in a private gated mews in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. 

Our construction partner Domis will start work on site this month and the first homes are scheduled for completion at the end of 2023. 

Salboy co-founder and Managing Director Simon Ismail said: “We see London as a key part of our future strategy and this site perfectly fits our criteria with consented planning for luxurious accommodation with a prestigious address and access to good transport and local amenities.” 

The site, currently occupied by a two-storey office building and surface car parking, sits within a private gated mews with dedicated off-street parking, located off the prestigious Philbeach Gardens. With an estimated GDV of £40million it was brought to market by Knight Frank acting on behalf of owners Buckthorn Ltd.

Anthony Kazan, Partner in the Residential Land team at Knight Frank commented: 

This was a rare opportunity to acquire a vacant site within an ambitious regeneration area that spans 25 acres and has already attracted millions of pounds of investment. 

“Once completed, the development will provide high quality luxury apartments within an exclusive private mews close to the wider Earls Court regeneration project. This is a fantastic acquisition for Salboy’s expansion into London.” 

James Wallis of Aben Capital advised Salboy on the acquisition.
