Dorset Council: Pure Town Planning Director, Dan Wilden is pleased to have secured planning permission for the extension of a factory building at a site in the Ferndown Industrial Estate. The plans were produced by Nabney Plans.

Prior to submission of the application we sought the advice of the County Highways officer to check that they were content with the parking arrangements proposed – the parking was below the required standard based on floor space but actually improved on the current situation on the site.

The main issue in this case was simply getting the application registered – the submission was just before the merger of the Dorset councils and administrative teething problems in the early days of the new Council resulted in various applications such as this being held up. But once we had the application registered it sailed through quickly without any problems.

If you have a commercial premises which you would like to extend or alter, why not contact Pure Town Planning to take advantage of our free consultation service?
