BCP Council (Bournemouth area): Jess Glover is delighted to have recently secured planning permission for the change of use of an existing letting agents (A2 Use Class) into a Nail Bar (Sui Generis Use Class) at The Triangle, Bournemouth.

The site is situated within the Poole Hill and West Cliff Conservation Area and along a tertiary shopping frontage within Bournemouth Town Centre where applications for a change of use are permitted, provided that the proposal contributes to the retail and community functions of the area.

The application process ran smoothly and did not require any changes or comments before being duly approved ahead of the target date.

It was concluded that the proposed use as nail salon is acceptable in terms of its effect upon the vitality and viability of the shopping area and the character and appearance of the area.

If you are looking for advice on the feasibility of a change of use of an existing retail unit, office space, or other site why not give us a call on 01202 585524 or email us at [email protected] for a free and confidential desktop appraisal.
