Pure Town Planning- Approved: amended scheme of six houses in Bridport, Dorset
Posted by Pure Town Planning on 23rd September 2019 -
Dorset Council (West Dorset): Darryl Howells has assisted a client to obtain planning permission by way of a “Section 73 application” to vary an approval for a attractive terrace of 6 houses in Bridport that include projecting verandas above the adjacent waterway. The original consent was previously secured by the firm but the Section 73 application amends it by substituting amended drawings.
The planning application was welcomed by the Local Planning Authority however due to the implications of the renovation works to the retaining wall abutting the waterway, the negotiations were not so much with the planning officers, but with the Environment Agency (EA). After extensive discussions, the submission of several consultation reports and justification by Darryl and the client, the EA gave the green light to the planners and subsequently the scheme was approved under delegated powers.
If you have a scheme that requires potential complex planning or environmental negotiations, speak to Pure Town Planning as we have a proven track record of negotiations and securing planning permissions.
