Persimmon Homes Wessex has lodged plans with Wiltshire Council for the third 193-home phase of the development.

A mix of homes is proposed by Persimmon and its sister company Charles Church, including 58 affordable properties. Extensive open spaces and play areas are planned along sports pitches and changing rooms.

Completion of the central spine road will connect the new phase to previous phases.

A local centre, allotments, public art, employment land, improvements to public footpaths, new pedestrian and cycle routes, biodiversity enhancements and a dedicated ecology area will also be delivered at Jubilee Gardens.

Persimmon Homes regional managing director Julian Roper said: “We’re very proud of the progress we’ve made so far at Jubilee Gardens and are delighted to be bringing forward the next stage of our plans as we aim to deliver on our full vision for the development.

“Persimmon is a business that is committed to leaving a positive and lasting legacy in the areas in which we build, from environmentally sustainable homes for the open market and housing associations, to open public spaces and ecological enhancements.

“These principles have been exemplified in our site at Warminster, which is why we’ve been happy to host visits from local parliamentarians and senior councillors to town councillors and housing association executives.

“We hope our record of delivery and the quality of our plans will speak for themselves, and we look forward to working with key stakeholders such as Wiltshire Council and Warminster Town Council as we move our application through the planning process.”
