Planning House- 'Box Park' Planning Success

Planning House are delighted to announce that they have secured planning approval for the creation of a ‘box park’ within an existing retail and leisure park, offering smaller retail units to the existing offer at Teesbay for our client Mason Partners.

The Senior Planning Officer who recommended approval to the scheme which was today supported by Hartlepool’s Planning Committee considered that the design of the scheme is unique and taken as a whole, could not be delivered in the town centre and would not therefore significantly affect the vitality and viability of the town centre or nearby local centres.

The design by NS Architecture Ltd will complement the existing retail park and is a welcome addition to the town.

“It’s been a pleasure to work with Mason Partners and NS Architecture who have been instrumental in the upgrade of the retail park. The introduction of this distinctive modern development will not only enhance the retail offer for Hartlepool but will be a striking addition to the town” –  Helen Heward, Associate
