Outstanding Security Performance Awards 2022 - Finalist

STM Group is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted for 4 categories at the OSPA's 2022.

It comes with a great sense of honour and achievement to announce that STM Group (UK) Ltd has been shortlisted in 4 categories at the OSPA (Outstanding Security and Performance) Awards 2022, which will be hosted in the new year.

The OSPA’s recognise and reward companies, people and innovation across the security sector, being designed as both independent and inclusive, providing an opportunity for outstanding performers, whether buyers or suppliers, to be recognised and their success to be celebrated.

The criteria for these awards are based on extensive research on key factors that contribute to and characterise outstanding performance, and it comes with great pleasure to announce that STM Group has been shortlisted in the following categories:

– Outstanding Contract Security Company (Guarding)

– Outstanding Customer Service Initiative

– Outstanding Event Security Team

– Outstanding Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Initiative

Being nominated for such categories comes with great pride, where every internal customer within STM works efficiently, tirelessly and passionately to provide such fantastic results, for both themselves and the company overall.

Looking specifically at the Outstanding Equality ,Diversity and Inclusion Initiative, STM Group is not only a proud founding signatory of the Railway Industry Association (RIA) and Women in Rail (WR) EDI Charter – an initiative set out to tackle inequality within the industry – but STM Group has also created a fantastic, successful and innovative internal initiative.

The Voice of Women (VOW) Internal Working Group was set up earlier this year as an initiative seeking to break external barriers, as an integral part of a wider strategy to both protect and project the female voice.

Since its introduction, VOW has had some great successes including the most recent launch of the STM VOW Booklet, a hand-held safety and wellbeing guide, providing tips, resources and all the other means for success and safety.

Alongside this, being nominated for the Outstanding Event Security Team also comes with tremendous pleasure, where- in collaboration with Southeastern Railway- STM Group provided a range of services at the Open Golf Championship 2021, being held at Royal St. George’s Golf Course in July. Being a fantastic event spread across 4 days, with 32,000 attendees each day, STM Group proudly supplied safety and support to all travelling passengers at Sandwich Station, Kent- being the closest to the event.

This was a tremendously successful achievement for STM Group, where the company executed fantastic security and customer services, receiving rewarding feedback from the client.
