More Quality Office Space for Basing View

By way of further recognition of Basingstoke’s office market now re-emerging from the impact of the Covid pandemic, the owners of the Renaissance scheme on Basing View have commenced a full refurbishment of Building 1100.
The property was previously occupied by Penningtons Manches Cooper, solicitors, who relocated across Basing View into Matrix House in late 2020, following a lease expiry.
Morgan Lovell – specialists in office design and fit-out, have been appointed to undertake a comprehensive refurbishment, to transform the 12,300 sq ft building to fully Grade A, modern offices which will then be presented back to the market by local agents, BDT and Hollis Hockley. A guide rent has already been set at £25.00 per sq ft and the 3 individual floors could be leased independently, the smallest size option being just under 3,000 sq ft.
Inevitably the refurbishment and smart building technology will lead to significant improvements in carbon saving levels and EV charging points will be installed as part of the 50 allocated parking spaces.
Richard Thomas of BDT confirmed that the project should be completed in July this year and that the building will offer …. “the only Grade A self-contained or standalone building presently available on Basing View”. The option of individual self-contained floors is also thought to offer significant appeal to the change in office working practices that has inevitably resulted from the pandemic.
