JMC Spotlight; Life at JMC Legal with CEO Jason Connolly

I’m Jason Connolly, CEO of JMC Legal Recruitment. I launched JMC in November 2016, with the view of creating a refreshingly friendly agency with a truly consultative approach.

Before working in the recruitment industry I had worked in several different roles, I started my career working as a performer/magician busking on the streets of London, before being signed to an entertainment agency where I would travel the country performing at events. I then went on to become cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic, where I worked for several years before working as a Police Officer for the Metropolitan Police. I think this blend of experience and roles gave me the life skills to become a high achiever in the recruitment industry.

Since our launch, what we have achieved is incredible. We have grown to a team of 20 and have become one of the UK’s most highly regarded legal recruitment agencies.

We are a dynamic, ambitious and people-centric business where teamwork and high levels of service are at the core of what we do. We have a fun office environment with a family feel throughout the company. We work hard but equally celebrate our successes, both individually and as a team.

We give individuals the best in industry training, where we work closely with everyone on an individual basis to achieve their career goals. Whether you are a trainee with no experience or a seasoned recruiter, we will work with you to develop you in your recruitment career.

We house a team that is truly passionate about recruitment and the legal sector. Our brand continues to evolve with the changing legal landscape.

I truly enjoy coming into work every day, and no two days are the same at JMC. Due to the number of industry sectors, we cover within legal there is a real variety to the work that we deal with, making for a very interesting working environment.

I am very proud of the team and the fact we are a truly unified company, I feel as a company we have a team that really supports one another, which isn’t always the case in many companies. We have a clear vision to become the UK’s leading legal recruitment agency while continuing to hire talented individuals, providing a platform for people to change their lives financially.
