Ideal Modular Homes achieves Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental ISO Accreditations
Posted by Ideal Modular Homes on 16th September 2020 -
We are pleased to announce that we’ve achieved ISO Accreditations for 9001:2015 (Quality Systems), 45001 (Health and Safety Standards) and 14001 (Environmental Standards), demonstrating our robust processes during the manufacture of our market leading modular homes. It also proves to our clients that we have robust processes in places that are regularly audited and reviewed.
In consultation with Synergos Consultancy, we were audited by Alcumus ISOQAR who reviewed our systems and we proved that we had established a suitable integrated management system meeting all requirements at time of audit, and we were recommended for certification.
International standard, ISO 45001 (Health and Safety Standards), provides a structured framework for ensuring a safe and healthy workplace. This achievement recognises our commitment to employee safety, reducing workplace risks and creating better, safer working environments.
ISO 14001 (Environmental Standards) sets out the criteria needed for an environmental management system and maps out a framework organisations can follow to set up their own. Obtaining this provides assurance to employees and clients that environmental impact is being measured and improved.
ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard defining the requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS). Achieving the standard shows our current and potential clients that we’re able to meet their requirements in managing processes and systems.
Adrian Batterley, Health and Safety Manager said, “This has been a really rewarding process, and I would like to thank everyone who provided input. We’re really proud of having achieved these accreditations, and they’ll go a long way to cementing Ideal Modular Homes’ reputation within our industry and with current, and future clients.”
