How Our Landscape Maintenance Service Can Support Property Management
Posted by Scotscape on 15th April 2021 -
Landscape management from the Scotscape Groundscape team is organised to ensure that your grounds are maintained to the highest standards throughout the year. Each and every site is led by a team supervisor who will work directly with property management, facilities teams and residential garden committees to deliver a schedule of award-winning grounds maintenance and enhance your grounds with additional landscaping projects should you so desire.
With a portfolio of projects which include mixed-use residential properties, care home gardens, green roof maintenance, commercial property, transport links and private clients our scope and reach is broad.
The team are all gardeners at heart – we love gardens and believe in the power of nature to improve urban places for city dwellers and biodiversity.
How does Scotscape Groundscape support sustainable landscape maintenance?
With the climate and environmental sustainability leading the landscaping agenda, we endeavour to use environmentally friendly practices at all of our projects. We use environmentally friendly weed control and feeds at our projects, electric tools when possible and are making the significant moves towards an entire fleet of electric vehicles for our grounds maintenance staff. Many of our operatives also use public transport networks.
Working with property managers and residents committees we assist with options to integrate landscaping projects to boost biodiversity – this native hedge recently installed at Wimbledon Hill is a perfect example of this. During our woodland management practices at Kidbrooke we create habitats with wood coppiced, for birds, bugs and bees.
Wildflower seed is a wonderful boost to any landscape, the wildflower meadows at Barnes Waterside which we manage are a fantastic boost to biodiversity and of course are visually very appealing.
