Housing Supply and Delivery Report 2021, Bedfordshire

Posted by Planning Insight on 26th November 2021 -

title

Planning Insight have updated their Housing Supply and Delivery Reports for 2021. The reports cover each county in the South East.

The reports provide a snapshot of the respective local authority’s housing land supply position (assessing their ‘5 year housing land supply’) and housing delivery performance (using the figures from the Housing Delivery Test 2020). The reports also looks at the status of Local Plans to assess whether sufficient land is allocated to meet housing requirements over the plan period and also whether plans are ‘out-of-date’ and, therefore, using the correct formula to calculate their housing land supply requirements.

The above information is assessed to provide a weather forecast for each authority - the better the outlook, the better it is for developers to bring forward housing proposals in that area.
