Sidney Phillips have successfully completed on the letting of the White Hart in the Somerset village of Chilton Polden to innovative new owners.

The White Hart occupies a central position in Chilton Polden which lies close to England’s smallest city, Wells and the Somerset coastal towns of Burnham on Sea and Weston Super Mare. The village is close to the Somerset levels and RSPB Nature Reserve managed by the Somerset Wild Life Trust. The village continues to expand with the construction of a modern housing development by Persimmon

Homes on ground immediately adjoining the White Hart.

The premises benefits from a bar (30), dining room, skittle alley come function room and two bedroom owners accommodation. There is also a large car park and well presented gardens to the rear.

Historically the business has been wet-led and is well supported by the local community, usually supporting several skittle teams including a popular Boxing Day skittles competition. The White Hart is also known for occasional live entertainment, quizzes and karaoke.

Sidney Phillips have let the White Hart on a new free-of-tie lease to local business operators who have an exciting vision of transforming and renovating this public house into a village hub and cater for this expanding, yet charming village. There are exciting times ahead for Chilton Polden!
