Central Derby pub sold for over the asking price by Sidney Phillips

The Duke Of Clarence situated on Mansfield Road within the city of Derby has been sold by the Eastern Counties office of licensed property specialists Sidney Phillips.

The Duke Of Clarence has been closed since March 2020 having been previously operated as a tenanted community public house catering to an established mature audience. The premises showcased a number of traditional pub games, sports and was renowned for its multiple darts teams.

In need of renovation, the 3,500 sq ft building comprises of an open plan bar, four bedroom owners accommodation and car park.

The Duke of Clarence has now been sold to experienced Derbyshire developers Stanton Developments, with an aim to start conversion works into residential use before the end of 2020.
