Construction work has been completed on a 49,000 sq ft R&D building for The Native Antigen Company (TNAC) at the new Oxford Technology Park.

The two-storey building, which has 48 car parking spaces and 10 EV charging points, is a mix of bespoke laboratory, Grade A office and logistic operations space for TNAC to use for its research including vaccine development.

The 21-acre park is a major new science and technology scheme which will provide more than 400,000 sq ft of office, R&D laboratory and production space. There will also be a Premier Inn and Beefeater restaurant.

Nick Roesen, chief operating officer of TNAC, said: “The new facility provides us with the perfect opportunity to expand our operations, following the acquisition of The Native Antigen Company in July 2020 by LGC.

“The building has been designed to meet our exact specifications, which will enable us to work more efficiently and effectively. We are also excited about being part of a new science and technology community at Oxford Technology Park.”

Angus Bates, owner and developer of the park, said: “We are thrilled to be working with The Native Antigen Company and looking forward to growing the science and technology community around them.”
