AJ100 Festival Goes Virtual in 2020
Posted by Hunter Dunning on 7th September 2020 -
Each year the AJ100 hosts a very special annual dinner at the Tower of London for the winners of the dedicated AJ100 award categories. Sadly, due to Covid-19 this well-known event will not be taking place in person, but instead is going virtual!
This year marks the AJ100’s 25th anniversary and it certainly is something to celebrate in the world of architecture. The AJ100 survey is the definitive record of the largest architecture practices in the UK and rewards achievements made by these firms each year.
This years festival is free-to-attend and will be taking place from the 14th to 18th of September. It will offer a week-long programme of celebration and learning, focusing on this year’s AJ100 practices, the 2020 award winners and inspirational speakers pioneering new ways of practice. The AJ100 has been transformed this year in response to the climate emergency. The daily festival programme features AJ100 awards announcements, case studies, interviews, panel talks and virtual fringe events all focused on cutting-edge sustainability.
The companies who are listed within the AJ100 are measured by the number of Architects employed by each company in the UK. Take a look at some of last year’s winners here.
