Congratulations to our twenty-one 2019 winners at last nights AJ Architecture Awards. The awards took place at a luxury gala dinner at the Exhibition London in Shepherd’s Bush last night (20th November 2019) and was hosted by comedian and actor, Miles Jupp.

The AJ Architecture Awards recognise excellence in Architecture. There are 18 categories to enter and a further 3 categories which are chosen from all entries. According to the Architects Journal “The juries visited all 125 of the shortlisted buildings in their search for the best new architecture in the country, looking at a wide range of schemes ranging from office buildings to social housing and unbuilt masterplans. The 54 judges included Amin Taha, Eva Jiricna, Biba Dow, Kirsten Lees and Edward Jones.”

These are some of the most sought-after awards in the industry. Winning an award is beneficial for so many reasons. On a business level it stands the practice in good stead when competing for business as an award-winning organisation. On a personal level it is great for your CV for as/when you are looking for new jobs in Architecture and it’s also a huge personal achievement.
