A little help at the right time goes a long way!

A great end to our week with Planning Success at a property in Stockton on Tees.

As background a residential extension is generally not something we’re asked to be involved in as they don’t tend to require Town Planning Consultants input.

However in this case we were contacted by the Agent acting on behalf of their client who had submitted a planning application for a large residential extension on a bungalow.

Discussions with the Council Planning Department had failed and with the prospect of refusal looming we were asked to step in and provide a material planning considerations statement to justify the extension and overcome a refusal. Our statement to the Council allowed our client to purchase a property and avoid significant delays associated with a planning appeal, which had the potential for the sale to fall through.

Sometimes clients don’t need our input from the start of a project but its always good to know we’re here when needed.

All they needed was a little help from a friend…[feel free to start singing]
