New brands will cover over 5,000 sq ft at the scheme.

Leading London property investment company, LabTech, advised by Colliers and CBRE, has announced the signing of 10 F&B brands covering over 5,000 sq ft at Hawley Wharf Camden.

Following the announcements of a 6,000 sq ft Curzon cinema and 1,175 sq ft eco-conscious hairdresser’s from Butchers Salon, this represents the first group of F&B-focused signings at Hawley Wharf Camden, the emerging 580,000 sq ft mixed-use canal-side development.

Bringing a Cantonese flavour to Hawley Wharf Camden will be Bun House and Three Uncles. Rounding off the Southeast Asian offer is Ekachai and BaoziInn, covering Thai and Malaysian, and Taiwanese, staples respectively.

Farm-to-table grill brand Mikos Gyros will be serving the archetypal Greek filled pitta and they will be joined by compatriots Stilvi, the Greek dessert specialists. The Mediterranean offer is rounded off by A’do’re Fritto, the Italian grab-and-go brand.

Revered French pastry chef Philippe Conticini will be opening a dedicated production kitchen and café, supplying the brand’s existing Camden Market and Buck Street Market outlets, while combining traditional patisserie with his innovative and modern creations. Specialist drinks will also be on offer at Hawley Wharf, from nutritious, cold-pressed juice brand Juice Junkiez, andAmar Café – the Colombian coffee roaster that famously started selling caffeine drinks in disused London telephone boxes.

Commenting on the signing, Jonny Perkins, Retail Asset Manager at LabTech said: “A complete and modern destination like Hawley Wharf Camden needs a strong and diverse F&B offer, and collectively these deals represent a significant step forward in ensuring we achieve this. By selecting brands for this part of the development that understand Camden and London, all with experience in quality grab-and-go products, we hope to create a varied and exciting dining environment for our visitors.”

George Collison in the London Restaurants team at Colliers, added: “Hawley Wharf Camden is shaping up to be one of the ‘must visit’ destinations in north London. These ten new signings, alongside the likes of Curzon cinema, are just the start of what’s to come for the development. The canal side scheme will offer something quite distinct from others. Being able to announce a flurry of deals like this with more in the pipeline, during a global pandemic, represents the depth of demand for space at Hawley Wharf Camden.”

Bordered by Chalk Farm Road to the west and Regent’s Canal to the east, with a prime frontage on Camden High Street, Hawley Wharf Camden’s canal-side development is set to be a major attraction in North London, serving Camden’s 30 million visitors a year, equivalent to around 80,000 visitors every day prior to lockdown.
